Close to my Heart is a memory keeping company. They sell stamps, scrapbooking paper, cardmaking kits and so much more. I mostly worked on the catalog. Every year we have a Core Catalog that is when design elements were updated or completely revamped. I was part of the collaboration for each of those updates. In addition to catalog there are several campaigns each month. Each of the campaigns requires a flyer, web banner, product images and other web assets. I work with the photographer to get these done and out the door on time. Sometimes we have weeks notice and sometimes it is only days. When our photographer left the company, I was then put in charge of all photography needs for these campaigns and catalog as well. I help the events team with any assets they need. That has included logos, signage, flyers, presentation templates, lanyards and other swag. The type of events are incentive trips, conventions, consultant events and conferences (like Pinner’s conference). I updated the look of the thumbnails used for company YouTube videos as well as created slates that were used in the videos. There have been times when our product designers need help and I’ve been able to jump in and create some stamps, books and paper.
